Gorky's Art Nouveau Lamp
Description
Clinging to the wall, backed by an original Art-Nouveau-style decoration from the early 20th Century, this original lamp in Ryabushinsky Mansion, Moscow - once the home of Maxim Gorky - has miraculously survived. The asymmetric forms of the frame and cross-hatch decoration contrast with the curves of the wall brackets.
