Novokuznetskaya Ceiling Mosaic

Many of Moscow's Metro stations feature ornate, classic examples of Soviet art. surrounded by intricate plasterwork that would look more at home in a country mansions, this is one of seven octagonal ceiling mosaics by Vladimir Frolov, on the theme of wartime industry, to be seen when you gaze upwards in Novokuznetskaya Station.
