Fuente Ovejuna
Fuente Obejuna is a Spanish town in Andalucia, located 98 km from the provincial capital, Córdoba. It was made famous by Lope de Vega's play Fuenteovejuna, written between 1612 - 1614, about the uprising that took place there in 1476. This plaque commemorating the drama has been installed at the foot of the steps of the Town Hall where, each year, the townspeople come together to stage a production of Lope de Vega's classic.
