Never smile at a crocodile, No, you can't get friendly with a crocodile. Don't be taken in by his welcome grin, He's imagining how well you'd fit within his skin... Australian Saltwater Crocodiles - by far the most dangerous animals in Australia - are huge, aggressive, territorial, and plentiful across the north of the Australian Outback. "Salties", as the Aussies call them, eat mainly small reptiles, fish, turtles, wading birds etc... but they can also kill and eat much larger prey.
